Lake Vernon Cottage Rental #16 ~ North of Huntsville

Tall trees and spectacular views make this an incredible picturesque setting! Perched on a hill nestled in the towering trees and surrounded by lush greenery your escape awaits you. A spacious 3 bedroom plus bunkie cottage situated just a short drive from Huntsville is the perfect spot to call your home away from home this summer! Enjoy true “ cottage living ” lifestyle when you prep and cook your meals in this fully equipped kitchen that offers full panoramic views of Lake Vernon. The cottage is cozy and welcoming inside with large windows along the lakeside and dining room wall that bring in plenty of light and nature. Beautiful pine lined vaulted ceilings which offers a bright and inviting open-concept living, dining and kitchen area, allowing the whole family to be together. One floor living with easy walk out to the large deck that overlooks the lake from an elevated viewpoint which is absolutely breathtaking. Whether you are enjoying your morning coffee while listening to the birds sing to you or sharing an incredible meal with your family on the deck you will be sure to be making memories that will last a lifetime. Please note- we only allow lounging, relaxing, enjoyment, fun and rebooting at this cottage so make sure to drop the stress at the door.

 Out in Nature:

There are some wooden steps down with a railing to the lower level of the lot and then some more natural rock steps. Incredible landscape surrounds you every inch of this wooded lakeside retreat. Beautifully landscaped rock wall follows you as you walk down. Then it is a more gradual slope to your waters edge that is equipped to make a day by the lake perfect in every way. Cottage Life comes with big decisions - one of them being: Will you lounge on the large deck area that has a dock house equipped with a fridge for you to store snacks and drinks and a bbq to make lunch midday when the family gets hungry or will you soak up the sun on the huge u-shaped dock, jumping in the refreshing lake when you get too hot?

 Swimming:

Amazing deep water swimming off the dock with a ladder for easy access back onto the dock or there is also steps down to a more gradual walk in entry to the left of the dock.

 Boating…Boating…Boating! If you are bringing a boat you have access to endless boating on a four-lake chain surrounding Huntsville which includes access to Fairy, Peninsula and Mary lake offering over 40 miles of boating and exploring. Lake Vernon is the largest lake situated within the town of Huntsville. You can boat right into Huntsville and dock in town, take a stroll in our quaint downtown core, pop in and grab dinner at one of our local restaurants or stop for ice cream at Nutty Chocolatier. If you aren’t bringing a boat but still want to get out on the water don’t worry you can reach out to Ruthven Marine to arrange a boat or sea doo rental for your vacation. The cottage also comes with a kayak and a canoe for you to get out and explore the lake at a slower pace. Either way you get out and see it the lake offers beautiful natural landscape, with significant portions of undeveloped shoreline and has a variety of plants, fish and wildlife to uncover. Your paddle or boating adventure will make for some great pictures to take home with you!
