Summer 2022 We had a terrific week at Beaver Lodge. It's a nicely spread out cottage with room for the various generations. We loved the supply of water craft and being surrounded by nature. We saw a fox, toads, frogs, herons, mink and possibly even a beaver - it was amazing. The wifi worked well and the water supply/pressure/temperature is incredible. It was also very helpful having a full 2nd fridge on the lower level. Suggest if people want shade for down by the water to maybe bring a shade tent

We met the owners when they brought up a new bbq. They were delightful people.

Summer 2021

We enjoyed our stay at Buck Lake cottage. I might suggest different pictures of the kitchen/living room and decks. Obviously this cottage is geared to a big family like ours. We worried that there was not enough room inside for eating or gathering. We even brought up our own folding tables. We were pleasantly surprised to find the living room/kitchen twice the size that was pictured and we had no idea (from the pictures) that the covered deck was that huge.. Great space

We ate all our meals on the deck. The huge front lawn was great for parking our cars and boat trailers. and for the kids

to run.. We used the volleyball net and the boys even played some baseball. The screen is missing on the big patio door from the kitchen. That was a major annoyance as it's a big door and the little kids could not manage to open it on their own and keeping it closed  didn't not allow for any breeze when it got hot. Hopefully they get that screen fixed for the next renters.  

We found the cottage very clean. (cleaners were leaving as my first son arrived at 6 pm) Luckily I'd brought up a "stand" for large plastic garbage bags. Unless we just couldn't find them there was no garbage container, other than a small stainless steel bin. 

Mostly we were happy that Covid restrictions were lifted in time to let our large family gather. Thank you for your efforts to try and accommodate us through that fiasco.
