If you are looking for the most incredible Sunset, look no further. This cottage offers by far the most magnificent sunsets I have ever seen. Whether you take them in sitting on the beach or enjoy them from the sunroom while surrounded by family they will be a big part of your cottage memories. Nestled in the trees down a quiet cottage driveway you will be welcomed with open arms by nature and beauty at this Sunset Retreat. A cozy 3 bedroom cottage that lies on the banks of Deer lake is the perfect spot to unwind and relax at the lake. Deer lake is a quiet lake for the paddler at heart but also allows boats so bring your boat if you have one and do some tubing, skiing, fishing or just quiet boating around the lake. You will find all of the comforts of home inside with the added bonus of the most amazing room in the cottage…the sunroom. You can bring in the morning with a hot cup of coffee while being surrounded by panoramic views of Deer lake and nature or end the day with a family dinner that overlooks the lake and those amazing sunsets. The sunroom is a perfect place to play a late night board game or just relax  while the amazing northern sky lights up all around you.

Just off the sunroom there is a large deck for your outdoor entertaining, a great place for family meals lakeside. There is a large yard for outdoor activities whether it be volleyball/badminton, throwing a frisbee or a late night game of manhunt under the stars you will be sure to enjoy the space. The cottage property offers a beautiful sandy beach and gradual entrance into the water with great swimming for all ages. Sitting by the lake and enjoying the peace and quiet that surrounds you is just what you need. As you can see from the pictures you are surrounded by beautiful towering white Birch trees throughout the property and your view looking out beyond the lake is untouched undeveloped land at it’s best. A nice way to spend the afternoon on Deer lake is doing some paddling in the kayaks included. Bring the bikes from home if you want because the cottage is down a quiet driveway but is also off a pretty quiet gravel road which would be a beautiful bike ride. For anyone that is into longer more adventurous bike rides you can bike into Katrine for ice cream or bike to the town of Kearney as well through the back road. This area is surrounded by some of the best ATV trails in Ontario so if you have ATV’s this would be an amazing place to bring the bikes and do some touring. You can easily link up to the Kearney trails or ride all of the way to Parry sound.
